Description:
Southern Pacific Railroad 4-8-2 Class Mt-4 4350, date, location, and photographer unknown, Chuck Zeiler collection. This locomotive was built by SP's Sacramento Shops between 1923-28. The skyline casings were added June 28, 1940. It received Daylight paint scheme in 1946-47. Therefore this photo was likely shot between 1940 and 1946.
