Description:
Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 4-8-2 Class B-1-A 7020, date and location unknown, photograph by W. Krawiec, print by C( T. Felstead, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 7070 was built by Baldwin in August 1925 ( c/n 58605 ) and retired in May 1955. It was built to burn coal, and at an unknown date chnverted to burn oil. My guess is location as Alliance, Nebraska ( based on the February 1, 1952 CB&Q Locomotive Assignment Sheet ), and around the retirement date of 1955, based on the dimsel in the background.
